Evanston artist James Deeb presents The Midnight Broadcast, featuring paintings and drawings from his on-going series, Mythic City. The work is made up of tronies (composite faces) pieced together from the artist’s memory, creating a personal and sometimes fantastical record of Deeb’s observations. Infused with pathos and mystery, James Deeb’s art adds up to more than the sum of its parts.
